The Middle Ages Knights
In The Middle Ages knights were one of the three types of soldiers who fought in the army. They were known as today's modern tanks because no one could stand up to them. They would plow through everyone in the path. Foot soldiers didn't even stand a chance against a knight because they were very skilled and were killing machines. Through the years knights began the jousting tournaments. Two knights would begin to ride their horses towards each other and they would bare long, wooden, blunt poles and a shield. They would try to knock the other knight off their saddle. Some were injured and even killed by mistake.
